Wildlife Photography
The countryside around Algy’s Farms attracts a wonderful variety of birds and wildlife. We also have a resident male pheasant, Philip – named by one of our customers in a prize draw that raised £150 for the defibrillator fund!
Attracting Wildlife
Carefully placed bird feeders around the farm, filled with Algy’s Bird Seed, help attract more than 25 different bird species, as well as several mammals. The farm’s diverse habitats provide a rich, ever-changing environment that supports wildlife throughout the seasons. Algy’s Bird Seed is also available to buy in the farm shop, perfect for attracting a variety of birds to your own garden.
Sarah Darnell photography
Hi, I’m Sarah.
I am a Norfolk-based photographer specialising in local wildlife and countryside activities. Over the last 10 years, I’ve had exclusive access to roam Algy’s farmland, capturing the variety of mammal and birdlife found here.
My passion is photographing the brown hare, and several of my images have been recognised by the British Wildlife Photography Awards. This year, one of my hare photographs achieved Runner Up in the Animal Behaviour category. With over 13,000 submissions, this is indeed a personal achievement for me.
A selection of my work is displayed in the farm shop and café, with framed prints and Bintree Farm greeting cards available to purchase and updated seasonally.
