Baby Shelducks

We were delighted to spot a group of baby shelducks on the farm recently, a lovely reminder of the wonderful wildlife that can be found across the fields, hedgerows and waterways here at Algy’s.

Shelducks are striking birds, known for their bold markings and distinctive colours. Seeing the young ducklings exploring their surroundings is always a special sight, and it’s moments like these that show just how important the farm is as a home for both crops and wildlife.
